Music

I hear a song and I’m instantly transported to a time or place with mostly fond memories. Other things can do it to like smells but music is the most powerful. I also find I can get extremely emotional with particular songs.

Anti-hoon laws

What do you think about the anti-hoon laws, would you dob, should we have zero tolerance, what about hoon plates. In Tasmania for the first offence a 48-hour vehicle impoundment, three months for a second and indefinitely for a third. I suppose we have all been guilty of “youthful recklessness” I think I worked most of mine out in the bush and paddocks in old bombs and motor bikes, not so easy these days.

The statistics are frightening - cars impounded
50% were speed related, 49% were hoon-related and 1% were for other driving offences;
55.3% of all impoundment offences were committed by the holders of Probationary Licences. Of these, 40.3% were speed related and 59.7% were hoon-related.
Of all hoon-related related impoundments, 39% were in relation to ‘burn-outs’, 30.3% were in relation to ‘fish tailing’, 28.2% were in relation to ‘wheelies’ and 2.5% were in relation to other hoon acts.

Can anymore be achieved.

I know I’m taking a big risk here but I think the question needs to be asked, has the SIDS organization got anything more to offer or have we learnt all there is to know about this terrible occurrence. The results so far have shown that nutrition, bedding, sex, age, race, position, cigarettes, room temperature, drugs, weather and some medical conditions all contribute. This is great and I’m sure have saved life’s but are we now funding a huge machine that has done its job all be it well. I’m just asking the question I could be totally wrong and it may be appropriate to ask the same question of other organizations, it just seems to me that these well intended and in the beginning useful enterprise’s grow to a point and then only exist to perpetuate themselves. I actually hope someone can shoot me down in flames.

Chemical castration, aversion therapy, reparative therapy, lobotomization, psychosurgery, role-play therapy, murder, lock them up forever, or what?

WHY do we EXIST

We know we exist because we know the opposite of that is false, perceiving there is a difference between the two, but WHY ? Why can we know I am I ? versus I being not I?

What is the reason I exist? Is what ever I achieve the reason ? What if I don’t achieve it?

What happens when it over ? (the questions stop or do they)

Who cares ?
